Not at all! The venteon f-to-2f interferometer is very compact, almost common path configuration and hands-off, so you don’t have to touch it after installation. Should the beam in front of the interferometer be misaligned for some reason, there are three pinholes included in the setup and a readjustment can be performed by doing a beam-walk on these irises to obtain a good beat signal.
