The venteon CEP5 approach does not require a PCF fibre for spectral broadening, the octave-spanning spectrum is obtained directly from the laser. There is no nonlinearity involved other than a simple SHG of the IR part of the spectrum in the f-to-2f interferometer! Related to: venteon
