Our highly engineered components and subsystem solutions—combined with deep expertise in advanced photonics—make us the global technology partner of choice for advanced industrial OEMs and system integrators. Our ball bearing polygon scanners combine expertise from our Cambridge Technology engineering team to develop polygonal scanners with high precision for high-speed raster scanning.
Engineered by Cambridge Technology, our ball bearing based polygon scanners provide a low-cost high precision raster scanner. Our ball bearing based polygon scanner is ideal for applications requiring less than 20,000 RPM which demand high load capacity and/or encoder feedback at a reasonable cost point. These scanners feature speeds ranging from 300 to 20,000 RPM available depending on polygon size, facet count, and scanner type.
Enhanced aluminum and protected gold coatings covering wavelengths from 350 nm to 10,600 nm
Optional encoder allows for improved positional feedback and better speed stability at slower speeds
Excellent power handling due to high rotation speeds and aluminum polygon substrates
Built for long lifetimes and high repeatability, our ball bearing polygon scanners are ideal for raster scanning applications such as high-speed inspection and sorting of a variety of agricultural commodities where large polygons, high performance, and consistent speeds are required.
